Wumbi

Bovid herd animal that inhabit the steppes and upland plateaus. The wumbi secrete a sticky substance in their sweat which helps keep their under-hair matted and acts as extra insulation. Their unwieldy-looking mandible is well suited for pulling roots and tubers out of the frozen earth, like a vacuum.
